Race Description: The Fauve de Bourgogne (Burgundy Fawn) were brought over from France in 2005 from the rabbit fancier Lau Magro. They came from her grandad's shed! The first trio went up to Hazelrigg Stud (Jayne Calvey's stud) in Lancaster. They are a very new breed to the UK and have finally been standardised, although Jayne says this should happen in December 2005. I am now awaiting some does.
